HISTORY

Omaha is similar to Texas Hold’em except each player is dealt four (4) hole cards and is played as a “high-low” split game

where the highest ranking hand and the lowest ranking hand split the pot evenly. “High-low” split games have an

“8 or better” qualifier for the lowest ranking hand which means that it cannot have a card higher than an 8 and cannot have

a pair or higher. If there is no qualified lowest ranking hand, then the highest ranking hand will win the entire pot. Ocean’s 11
